How has the engagement of female and non-binary artists with social media changed? How have social media platforms transformed perceptions of bodies and femininity? How are female and non-binary artists utilizing technologies such as AI and blockchain today? How are female and non-binary artists responding to the opportunities presented by NFTs to earn money with their art online? One of the goals of cyberfeminism was to undermine digital capitalism. How are female and non-binary artists achieving this in a still male-dominated digital art scene?

The exhibition in 2015 was presented on a website. In 2025, the exhibition will be showcased on virtual.hek.ch (HEK Basel), on Substack, and on an NFT platform (objkt.com, starting at the end of February).

More information coming soon.

Opening online: 24 January, 7 PM CET on virtual.hek.ch
