Book Launch: New Rituals [for the End of the World] @ I Never Read Book Fair
Join us for the launch of the new publication New Rituals [for the End of the World].
As part of I Never Read, Art Book Fair Basel, we invite you to the launch of the publication New Rituals [for the End of the World], published on the occasion of the current exhibition at HEK.
In a time shaped by AI, war and the climate crisis, the publication asks which new rituals are emerging today, what role technology plays in them, and how rituals can enable connection, identity or resistance. The book brings together artistic positions, essays and instructions for performing rituals yourself, with contributions by Shumon Basar, Anan Fries, Jenny Stümer, Audrey Tang, Suzanne Treister, McKenzie Wark, Marlene Wenger and Günseli Yalsinkaya.
The book launch will take place at the new location of I Never Read: on the first floor of a vacant office building at Viaduktstrasse 33, right by Basel train station and next to Basel Social Club.
