BitFabrik - Programming Club
Want to create your own games? Dream up imaginative 3D creatures?Animate colorful pixel art? At HEK, it’s all about getting hands-on! Today: Rock, paper, scissors & more with mint & pepper

At BitFabrik, kids and teens aged 9 to 14 get hands-on with the world of digital design while learning to use digital media thoughtfully. Each session introduces a new topic to explore and experiment with. Go behind the scenes of computers, learn to decode programming languages, and discover the creative potential of new technologies!
Today: Rock, paper, scissors & more with mint & pepper
Program your own rock, paper, scissors game with micro:bits. Learn how to use the microcomputer's accelerometer to control a random number generator. This will then display with every movement one of your own icons on the screen . Let the game begin!
After about 45 minutes of rock, paper, scissors, you can try out other micro:bit modules, such as Micro-Chat, pedometer or digital clock.
The programming club runs one Saturday per month with two groups:
Group 1: 09:30 – 12:30
Group 2: 14:00 – 17:00
Register via the ticket link. Choose from single tickets or 6-session passes.
The BitFabrik is led by computer scientists and art educators Natalie Frei and Anna Flurina Kälin, along with interaction designer Lily Hold.
