Rafael Lozano-Hemmer – Border Tuner

The screening presents a 48-minute single-channel video documenting dialogues between tens of thousands of people across the US–Mexico border during Rafael Lozano-Hemmer’s project Border Tuner. Now part of the LACMA collection, the film offers a vivid, at times playful and at times harrowing portrait of communication in the borderlands.

The presentation will also include the launch of the new book on the work, published by Inventory Press.
