HEK @ Zero 10: Early Net Art from the Collection

The selected works reflect the development of software- and network-based art since the 1990s. They address digital infrastructures, virtual environments, glitch aesthetics, game cultures, platform economies and the materiality of data.

With works by !Mediengruppe Bitnik, etoy, JODI, UBERMORGEN and Studer/van den Berg, the presentation offers insight into artistic practices that emerged with the internet and continue to shape how digital culture is perceived, questioned and preserved.
