Detours to the solution – Chindogu Workshop
Holiday workshop with the Basler Ferienpass.
What if there were a completely crazy invention for every little everyday problem?
In this workshop, you’ll discover the Japanese art of Chindogu: unusual, funny, and almost useless inventions that turn everyday life upside down.
Using recycled materials, found objects, and simple tools, you’ll develop your own ideas and build quick prototypes. Maybe you’ll invent a fork that brushes your teeth while you eat, a shoe that also works as a pencil case and bag, or a completely new solution to a problem from your daily life.
In this workshop you’ll tinker, experiment, and build. Nothing has to be perfect — the idea is what matters most.
No prior experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to try things out. The workshop lasts one day and is led by interaction designer Christoph Schneider.
Registration is via the Basler Ferienpass. Offer number TBC.
