BitFabrik - Programming Club
Do you want to program robots that buzz around, design images with artificial intelligence, draw fun pixel GIF animations, and develop fantastic game characters? Join HEK’s avid tinkerers’ club!
Under expert guidance, children and young people between the ages of 9 and 14 explore the world of digital creation. Every event tackles and explores a new subject. The participants look behind the scenes of the computer, learn to understand and influence code, discover the creative potential of new technologies and practice a reflective approach to media content.
BitFabrik takes place on a Saturday once a month, in two groups, morning or afternoon:
Group 1: from 9:30am–12:30pm
Group 2: from 2pm–5pm
Please register via the ticket link. You can receive informations and details on the individual topics by mail at vermittlung[at]hek.ch or via Instagram @hek_basel.
In addition to single tickets also available: 6-events-ticket and annual passes.
The BitFabrik is run by computer scientist and art educator Natalie Frei and interaction designer Lily Hold.
