Untitled No 1028 / Road Trip (Online Zine)

Untitled is a series of "Online Zines" by the Swiss media artist Esther Hunziker. The magazines can be browsed online with a simple click. They contain photos, footage from surveillance cameras, and computer graphics, which users can individually combine and rearrange.

Untitled N°1027 / While Waiting features fragments of words on the left side, such as I don’t know, Enough, or Speak! These are paired with instructions on intensity and emotional tone, such as (highly excited), (conciliating), or (violently). The comments on emotionality overlay sections of a photograph that gradually reveals, click by click, the image of a young girl lying on a bed and listening to music. The progression, which unfolds differently depending on the user, embodies the uniqueness of each "reading."
